Dear Damen Robert,
Holy crap! You're such a big kid!
Last night when we were getting ready for bed, you decided your tooth was wiggly enough that it HAD to come out.
You were twisting and twisting it, trying to get it ready to yank when daddy got home. Well, he had just left work and had about half an hour before he got here. I told you to just pull it!
After basically going through an entire toilet paper roll, you did it!
You were so PUMPED.
We, of course, lost the tooth before it was even bed time. You weren't worried because the tooth fairy is flat in your mind, and can sneak in places to get teeth very easily.
When you woke up you were afraid she didn't leave any money, but that sneaky flat tooth fairy left it behind your bed. Five whole dollars!
She must have been impressed with how brave you were. True to form, it was spent on a giant bag of candy as soon as you were out of school.
Speaking of candy, you were pretty mad at me the other morning. You've got this plan in your head of a grand candy stand, 50 cents a piece. You'd arranged a whole big stack to take to school for your business.
Unfortunately I had to stamp out your entrepreneurial dream because I think that's against school rules.
Oh well. I want to make you a lemonade style stand that you can set up on the driveway when you're feeling like hosting a sale.
Maybe we can enlist Dad's help..
One last thing! You did your testing but we haven't gotten the results back yet. You feel pretty confident about it. "I got an A+, maybe even 100%!"
I love you forever baby boy,
Mommy.
